Numerical Simulation of Aerodynamic Characteristics for Grid Fin with Swept-back Angle

Abstract

Drag reduction is an important task in the study of grid fin. The previous measures of drag reduction were given in the paper. By analyzing the reduction in drag force of swept-wing, the 3D model of grid fin with swept-back angle based on positive type grid fin was given, and then the numerical simulation results showed that swept-back angle played a positive role in improving lift-drag ratio and reducing drag force.
