Effectiveness Evaluation of Smart Noise Jamming Against Active Radar Seeker

Homing-on-technology is widely used in active ARAAM to counter blanket jamming. A new kind of smart noise, sawtooth FM signal, put forward to treat with the HOJ mode of ARAAM. The jamming signal is generated by adding a narrowband LFM signal in original radar echo, which features that analogy to Gaussian using small power smart noise jamming analyzed and modeled with the reference standard of minimum jamming distance and miss distance. Simulation results show that this smart noise high efficiency can jam radar seeker effectively.
