Three-axis Magnetometer Error Calibration Algorithm

In order to get a good solution to biases, scale factor errors and non-orthogonal misalignment of three-axis magnetometer, a new spinning spacecraft Kalman filter was designed. It combines attitude-independent and attitude-dependent calibration algorithms on the basis of original error calibration algorithm. The new Kalman filter is an iterative calibration algorithm on error parameters of three-axis magnetometer calibration. It is particularly well-suited to spin-stabilized spacecraft. Finally, through simulation, the error parameters of three-axis magnetometer were accurately solved.
