The Research on Velocity and High Measurement of Projectile Based on Pilot-tube

To resolve the question of bad universality and bad adaptability of environment of electro-mechanical safety and arming of non-spinning and slight rotary projectile fuze, research was carried out on army projectile fuze arming by velocity and height information after a-nalysis of a MEMS pressure sensor based mode to relieve the safety and arming of torpedo of USA navy. The projectile flow field pressure measurement which having relationship with the projectile velocity and height was researched, and some theoretical study on the projectile velocity measurement and high measurement was done. Finally, the scheme of projectile pressure sensing hole was designed, showing the feasiblility of the safety system.
