Interception and Feature Extraction of LFM-PRBCRadar Signal Based on FRFT Cyclic Processing Method

Abstract

In view of the problem that interception and feature extraction of linear frequency modulation-pseudo random binary codes phase modulation combined radar signal(LFM-PRBC), fractional Fourier transform(FRFT) cyclic processing method(CFRFT) was presented. With energy accumulation, it is up to peak in the fractional Fourier transform cyclic processing domain(CFRFD). By using peak detection in CFRFD, feature extraction of LFM carrier frequency, bandwidth, binary codes width and number was completed. After filtering in CFRFD to achieve signal reconstruction, feature extraction of codes phase was completed. Through theoretical analysis and computer simulation, this method can achieve interception and feature extraction of combined modulation radar signal with a low signal to noise ratio(SNR) in Gaussian white noise background.
