Gun Barrel Self Tightening Technology and its Characteristic Analysis

In the process of research and development of artillery weapon, its life is basically determined by the life of artillery barrel. The self-tightening technology is one of the main ways to prolong its service life. The existing self-tightening technologies include mechanical self-tightening, hydraulic self-tightening and explosive self-tightening. In this paper, these three kinds of self-tightening techniques are used to carry out in-depth research on the object of study. It is concluded that the explosive self-tightening technology does not need high pressure equipment. The production cycle is short, and it can act on the self-tightening of different shapes of bore barrel, and it is more safe.
