Preliminary Application on the Operational of High Power Microwave Outboard Platform

Abstract

In view of short slab of anti-ship missile defense, application of outboard high power microwave (HPM) in antimissile defense operation was proposed. The basic anti-missile operational flow of HPM outboard platform was constructed. The anti-missile operational simulation model was built. The influencing factors of effectiveness radiation operational time of the HPM outboard platform were analyzed. Simulation experiments demonstrate that the projecting distribution is better than the dragging distribution for the HPM outboard platform and the projecting distribution should be based on operational environment to choose optimal distribution distance and distribution direction.
