High Performance Real-time Flight Control Simulation System Design Based on PC Technology

A PC based real-time aircraft flight control simulation system without abandoning quality was presented. The real-time simulation computer hardware adopted Compact PCI bus industrial computer and the simulation software environment adopted the xPC target of Matlab and VxWorks. The high fidelity visual scenario system was also developed based on PC-IG (PC-Image Generator) hardware. The application shows this system is characterized with highly real time performance and good maintenance.
