Numerical Simulation on Blast Flow Field Evolution and Dynamic Response of Blast Chamber

In order to study dynamic response, blast wave generation and propagation within an explosion vessel, according to the characteristics of the internal explosion load, the laws of shock wave propagation in blast chamber were investigated by using three-dimensional finite element codes and experiment methods. The results show that: The dynamic response of shell is determined by the first pressure impulse. The maximum strains of the shell decrease away from the explosion center. The analyses provide references for similar engineering designs.
