Active Disturbance Rejection Controller Design for Integrated Flight-propulsion Control

Abstract

An active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) scheme was proposed to solve the multivariable coupling control problem of integrated flight propulsion control. The active disturbance rejection controllers were designed for velocity control loop and altitude control loop respectively. The interaction between flight control and propulsion control was estimated as disturbance and rejected. The second-order linear extended state observer (ESO) was used for velocity control loop. The altitude control loop was treated as internal/external loop control of pitch angle and altitude. Two third-order linear ESOs were proposed in altitude control loop. These ESOs’ parameters were adjusted by bandwidth. The simulation results demonstrate that the controller designed eliminates channel coupling of altitude and velocity, and be capable of resisting noise disturbance.
