Abstract

This article is based on a certain WCMD of America for hang-glider extended range (WCMD-ER) design, and then make the WCMD can carry out stand-off attack. Using commercial CFD software FLUENT acquire aerodynamic force coefficient and moment coefficient of this WCMD-ER on different Mach number, angle of attack and rudder bias; After processing aerodynamic data with moment balancing methods, then completing the three-degree of freedom trajectory simulation with this WCMD-ER, simulation result showed that the designed hang-glider make the WCMD attack stand-off, and the process of design have some benefit for other aircrafts' hang-glider extended range design.
