Analysis on Development of MMW Radar Precision Guided Weapon

Abstract

The development history and current status of typical MMW radar-guided weapons, including anti-armor, anti-radiation, anti-missile and air defense missiles, are summarized, with the focus on the guidance section and tests of recent years. The technology, and application issues and characteristics for this kind of weapon are then concluded. Lastly, the future development of multi-mode combined guidance, MMW imaging guidance, and concepts of modularization, serialization and multi-platform are analyzed and concluded.
