The Research of Infrared Decoy Modeling and Visual Simulation

The infrared countermeasures(IRCM) technology plays an important role in air combat, and the method of infrared decoy disturbs infrared guided missile is widely used. In order to study the effect of IRCM and display the entire process of IRCM visually, a simulated model was built focused on the characteristic of infrared decoy. At the same time, the visual simulation technique was adopted for IRCM simulation. The result indicates that the method features accurate, it generates a visual effect, and has a valuable reference value for development of a similar simulation system.
