Research on a New Towed Decoy Technology

A jamming model based on towed decoy of velocity gate pull off was presented, which was employed in angle deception jamming effect of towed decoy. The principle of angle deception when towed decoy interferences radar seeker and velocity gate pull off was described, and the technology of velocity gate pull off was applied to the signal of decoy, some methods and measures to improve the validity of decoy of velocity gate pull off were proposed. The jamming effect of towed decoy was improved, and the velocity gate of radar seeker was pulled off when the method was used. The method was simulated by Matlab, and the validity of method was validated.
