Analysis on Damage Probability of Loitering Missile with MEFP Warhead

Abstract

Based on unidirectional characteristic of the multi-mode EFP warhead kill element, the effect of missile attitude error when warhead initiating on hit precision can not be ignored. To evaluate the kill probability of the cruise missile with MEFP war-head, the single-shot damage probability model considering missile attitude error was set up by means of Monte-Carlo method. The simulation results show that the blasting height and circular error probability should be reduced, and the attitude control accuracy should be improved to improve the kill probability.
