The Simulation Research on High-precision Location Interval Distribution of Dual Aircraft Passive Location

In order to make full use of the advantages of passive location, such as good concealment, strong anti-interference ability and long range, and promote its development in military, the simulation research on high-precision location interval distribution of dual aircraft passive location is carried out. Through mathematical modeling and simulation software, the influence of baseline length, normal angle, target distance, positioning angle on positioning accuracy were analyzed. The interval distribution and carrier phase conditions meeting the predetermined accuracy were simulated. The simulation results show that when the positioning accuracy is certain, the dual aircraft location interval is fan-shaped. The area of the fan-shaped is directly proportional to the distance of dual aircraft and the signal frequency. Finally, the dual aircraft passive location flight and weapon launch angle determination methods were proposed. They can be used to judge whether the current target area meets the accuracy requirements. Results of this research can promote the application and development of passive location in military.
