Abstract

The principle of dynamic image tracking and recognition system was analyzed. The ability of target recognition of long-range image guided missile was studied. The probabilities of target recognition for television image and thermal image were calculated using the FLIR model and LAND model, respectively. The influence of variety of environmental factors on the probabilities was investigated. The calculation results are in accordance with experiments, which show the validity of the evaluation model for a-bility of target recognition. The method and results provide reliable reference to the index demonstration and evaluation of target recognition for long-range image guided missile.
