Miss Distance Measurement Based on Single Radar-photoelectric Theodolite

In order to improve data recording rate of miss distance measurement and reduce experiment cost, a single station method combing with the character of radar-photoelectric theodolite was presented. Firstly, the processing method of target range was set up based on basic principle of dual frequency radar ranging and the algorithm of auxiliary ambiguity resolution. Then, the computing model of miss distance was introduced. Finally, the precision influenced by measurement errors was analyzed. The analysis results show that the system errors of device can be offset, and the measurement precision under the typical conditions is better than 1m. The method can satisfy the requirements of miss distance measurement.
