Adaptability Analysis of Linear Array CCD with Low Elevation Angle Testing the Projectile Point

As the 45° elevation angle used in the intersection measurement of the linear array CCD target equipment leads to the problem that the target center is too high from the ground which is difficult to meet the test requirements, a method by reducing the elevation angle of the camera system is proposed. This paper focuses on the influence of factors such as target parameters, target recognition and measurement accuracy caused by low elevation test on test results. The analysis shows that by this way, the target can be accurately identified. At the same time, by lowing the elevation angle of the camera system, the target center can be significantly reduced. Take 10m×10m target as an example: when the elevation angle is more than 32°,the accuracy can be less than 50mm; when the elevation angle is more than 33°, the accuracy can be less than 40mm; when the elevation angle is more than 38°, the accuracy can be less than 20mm. Thus, testers can select reasonable elevation angle of the camera system to meet the test demand.
