Abstract

In order to test whether the TSPR-powered tactical aircraft can achieve the intended mission objectives, taking HARM missile as research object, this paper carried on the design and the trajectory of the TSPR-driven HARM missile. It is concluded that the total mass of TSPR which is series connection is about 180 kg and the total length is 3.55 m. The TSPR-driven HARM missile can accelerate from (3 km、Ma 0.9) to cruise state (10 km、Ma 2.2), with a total range of 280.6 km, which is 3.9 times the range of the same quality solid rocket motor drive, and the average speed is about 1.1 times that of the solid rocket motor. It is proved that TSPR is an excellent tactical aircraft propulsion system.
