Abstract

In order to accelerate the convergence speed of LDPC decoding and reduce the complexity of decoding algorithm, this paper combines the layered messaging mechanism with the NMS algorithm, and proposes a low-complexity LDPC decoding algorithm based on the layered messaging mechanism, which fundamentally changes the transmission mechanism of NMS algorithm. The simulation results show that the algorithm is faster and less complex than the traditional LDPC decoding algorithm.
