Design of Detector for the FOG Loop Eigenfrequency Based on MCU+FPGA

According to the cumbersome and imprecise in measuring the FOG Loop eigenfrequency, one kind of tester is designed based on MCU+ FPGA. Firstly, the structure of system is introduced. Afterward, the design of hardware is expatiated, which includes optics and circuit. Then the design idea and realizing method of software are discussed, which includes timing control, signal modulation, signal demodulation and data processing. Later, the software flow chart is given. Lastly, one FOG Loop is applied in this detector which shows that accuracy is about 62 Hz, this system is more accurate compared with existing scheme. It is proved that the design of hardware and software is valid.
