The Study on Combustion Law of Glued Consolidation Propellant in Constant Volume

Abstract

In order to explore the combustion law of glued consolidation propellant in constant volume, the method to fix the value of parameters when the bonder had been burned was conducted through the state equation of closed vessel, and different glued consolidation propellant was calculated. The results show that the variable-burning rate propellant has burned 4.17%~7.63% when the has burned completely, and this stage can't be neglected; The burning mass percentage of the variable-burning rate propellant when the bonder has been burned increases with the increased content of bonder, and the increased content of bonder can increase the burning time of both bonder and the glued consolidation propellant, and reduces the maximum pressure to some extent; The burning mass percentage of the variable-burning rate propellant when the bonder has been burned increases with the increased grain size.
