The Research and Design of Broadband Waveguide-slot Antenna

The equation was derived from the transmission line gap active radiation admittance formula. Based on HFSS, the waveguide-slot antenna array in the slot of the active radiation admittance was extracted, the side lobe was reduced by Taylor distribution amplitude weighting, and the overload technology was adopted for radiating slot and the feed network for broadband antenna matching. An 11 × 12 single-pulse antenna array was designed. The optimized simulation results show that the designed antenna meets the guidance requirement of high gain and low side lobe, and the VSWR bandwidth of antenna 1.5 is about 2 times of that of traditional design.
