The Failure Mode Study of Underground Structure Subjected to Blast Load

The dynamic response of structure subjected to blast load is always a hot issue, but the study of underground arch structure's failure modes scarcely can be seen. The underground structure is a special structure without mature design theory, and the blast load is also a special load. So it is difficult to study the thing through experiment. In this paper, the nonlinear dynamic finite element procedure of ANSYS/LS-DYNA was used and the fluid-solid coupling algorithm was selected to study the dynamic action mechanism each other between arch structure and rock underground subjected to blast load. Also, the failure modes of arch structure underground in difference circumstances were analyzed.
