Research on Shooting Problem of Near-space Hypersonic Aircrafts Defence with Airborne Intercepting Missile

Typical issues for intercepting combat of hypersonic aircrafts such as requirements of shooting, effective killing zone, attacking zone and opportunities of shooting were studied. First, appropriate attack methods of intercepting missile were proposed based on simulating calculation. Then, through studying relative position of target and missile, access of killing zone and attacking zone was presented, along with discussion on condition for re-interception. Finally, the relationship between some performance parameters and intercepting effectiveness of missile were made clear. The results show that killing zone and attacking zone have a positive correlation with speed and maneuverability of missile. Also, it is showed that reduction of distance of last-ditch, horizontal distance of boost-phase, and the time for damage assessment can increase opportunity of re-interception.
