Study on Mechanical Response Analysis and Modeling Method of Composite Rocket Launcher

In order to more effectively study mechanical properties and deformation characteristics of composite material barrel, and obtain more real results, based on the nonlinear finite element numerical simulation analysis method, using the finite element software ABAQUS, two methods, entity-shell unit binding and all shell units, were used respectively to establish simulation model of composite material barrel, and analyzed the mechanical properties of the cylinder. Comparing the differences of two modeling methods, and the actual test results, the analysis results show that the simulation results obtained by the method of solid-shell unit binding are more in line with the experimental results.
