Research on RCS Simulation and Correction Method of Rocket

Abstract

In this paper, the HFSS software SBR method is used to realize the dual-band RCS simulation of type 5 rocket in the whole airspace, and the line of sight angle conversion is used to realize the effective comparison between the measured RCS and the simulation RCS sequence. The causes of simulation errors are analyzed, and a radar RCS correction method combining model parameter adjustment and measured data correction is proposed. The accuracy of rocket simulation is increased from 5 dB to 2 dB, and the radar identification ability is effectively improved.
