Effect of Powder Liner's Axial Density Distribution on Shaped Particle Flow

In order to study effect of axial density distribution of powder liner on its jet, the formulas of jet relative length increment and infinitesimal relative displacement increment were built by micro-element assumptions. The density distribution of the powder liner was fit by the discrete element method simulation. Through numerical simulation and static penetration tests, the effects of axial density distribution of liner on length and fracture trends of the jet were studied. The results show that the non-uniform density distribution in liner axial direction can help to lengthen the jet and delay its fracture time. In addition, its penetration properties are well.
