Abstract

Concerning the problem of incomplete information and limited data exist in ballistic missile warning and tracking, a method of matching ballistic missile trajectory based on single satellite focal plane template was put forward. This method analyses the position data of a target on the focal plane rather than the angle data and slides over the course head estimation in traditional method. The right template is picked out and the exact impact point is estimated in the simulation which shows the significance of the method in theory and practice.
