Smart Jamming Technology for the Logical Channel of GMR-1 System

Abstract

A certain type of satellite communication system based on GMR-1(geostationary earth orbit mobile radio interface)protocol covers the whole area of China, leading to significant challenges in information security. Aiming at the problems that efficiency of traditional interference schemes is low, this paper proposes a smart jamming technique based on unique word sequence detection in logical channel. Firstly, the method of correlation matching is used to identify the unique word sequence based on the feasibility analysis of jamming. Then, the interference strategies of precise aiming and similar sequences are proposed. Then, a comparative experiment is carried out on the broadcast controlled channel burst signal transmission model. The experimental results show that the proposed scheme can realize smart interference and destroy the communication link based on the accurate recognition of the unique word sequence position in the logical channel.
