Comparative Study on Scale Adaptive Missile-borne Target Tracking Method

In order to solve the problem that the tracking effect is degraded due to the change of target scale in missile-borne video, based on the framework of KCF, this paper improves the algorithm in two ways: scale filter and scale pool, in order to enhance the ability of the algorithm to cope with the change of target scale. The results show that the tracking accuracy of the two methods is improved by 0.9%, 7.5% and 27.6%, 4.8% respectively, compared with the KCF algorithm. Finally, we analyze the application prospect of the improved algorithm in missile-borne target tracking.
