Research on Explosion and Scatters of Forest Fire Extinguishing Projectile for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle

Abstract

In order to improve the effective fire retardant area of drone forest fire extinguishing projectile, based on the new 120 mm caliber drone forest fire extinguishing projectile, using the TrueGrid software to establish the finite element model of the forest fire extinguishing projectile warhead and LS-DYNA to calculate the numerical solution to explore the influence of the fragmentation of the projectile shell on the fire extinguishing agent during the explosion of the forest fire extinguishing projectile and the theoretically effective fire retardant area,and compared with the results of the static explosion test of fire extinguishers. The results showed that when the specific dose was 3.21 percent, the shell was evenly broken and the fire extinguishing effect was good. The effective fire extinguishing area was 9 square meters. Compared with the results of the static explosion test, the error is 7 percent, which is within a reasonable range, which proves the accuracy of the numerical simulation and provides technical support for practical application.
