Development of Wind Tunnel Balance Automatic Calibration System

In order to solve the problems of insufficient subdivision of single weight load and low calibration efficiency in the current automatic balance calibration system, a full automatic balance calibration system was developed.First, a new triple automatic weight loading device is provided, the device uses three sets of independent transmission, driven by the electric-motors, guided by linear guide way, guaranteed at any time to load the ladder loads on a balance.Second, the six-degree-of-freedom resetting mode in serials is determined; some articulated arm joints were used to form link mechanism in order to convert the liner motion transferred by servo electric cylinder to rotation motion.The test results indicated that all the performance indicators of the calibration system have attained the demands of the balance calibration, and the device is reliable.
