Effect of Fragment Impact on Initiation of Composite Shell Charge

In order to study the impact initiation resistance of fragments to composite shell charge,the propagation characteristics are analyzed based on the one-dimensional shock wave theory. The impedance matching technology was used to simulate the effect of fragmentation on the composite shell charge of different materials. By analyzing the pressure of each medium contact surface, the initial pressure and energy of the input explosive.The results show that the order of impedance is large, medium and small, which can suppress the shock wave pressure, and the impedance of outer material is large, which can weaken the peak platform of shock wave pressure. The thickness of each layer shell is reasonable matching, which can make the anti-shock effect of charging with variable shell thickness stronger than that of layered shell thickness.
