Abstract

According to structure speciality of equilibrium launcher, the projectile will experience projectile-cartridge separation before leaving the cartridge, this is different from traditional weapon. At the same time, the velocity is high, the separation process is complex, the disturbance is also big. In the paper, finite-element code Autodyn was used to simulate the projectile-cartridge separation process on the basis of research on weapon structure characteristics and the projec tile-cartridge separation process. This study shows that the theory is similar to the experiment. This study can provide reference for research on projectile velocity.
