Abstract

Waveriders provide better aerodynamic performance than conventional lifting bodies at hypersonic speeds due to their wave-riding characteristics that prevent excitation leakage.In this paper,aiming at the complexity of waverider geometry generation,a parametric batch generation method was developed and a database of cone-derived waverider was developed under Mach 14 and 10° excitation angle.In order to realize global traversal in the parameter space to search for the optimum case,one evaluation function was defined.The impact of different control parameters was analyzed,and CFD method was carried out at Mach 10,14,18 and angles of attack from 0~15° for the optimum case.The results show that the optimum case has good characteristics of aspect ratio,volumetric ratio and lift-to-drag ratio.By qualitatively analyzing the trend of the influence of waverider parameters on the geometric and aerodynamic characteristics,the study provides a reference for the design of cone-derived waverider.
