A Method for Suppressing High Sidelobe of Inter Pulse Phase Coded Waveform

Abstract

To solve the problem of Doppler side lobe elevation caused by inter pulse phase coded waveform, a side lobe suppression method based on clean idea is proposed. Firstly, the target energy is focused in the frequency domain by inter pulse Doppler processing, then the target position is truncated by windowing and then transformed to the time domain to complete the target signal reconstruction. Finally, the side lobe suppression is completed by constructing different coded signals. The proposed method can effectively solve the problem that the side lobe elevation caused by inter pulse phase coding affects the detection of small and weak targets. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the method. This method has practical significance for UAV anti-collision system.
