Research on Ballistic Modeling and Verification of Aerial Cluster Bomb

In order to improve the use effectiveness of aerial cluster bombs,aiming at the problem that some aerial cluster bombs lack a full trajectory model,research on ballistic modeling and verification of aerial cluster bombs was carried out.CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulation was used to calculate the drag coefficients of the carrier bomb and the sub-munitions.Considering the ejection velocity of the suspension device and wind effects,the particle trajectory equations of the carrier bomb and the sub-munitions were established.By comparing the dispersion simulation of the sub-munitions with the actual test data,the accuracy of the trajectory model was verified.The construction of the trajectory model of aerial cluster bombs will lay a theoretical foundation for the calculation of the number of bombs,the release control and damage assessment when aerial cluster bombs strike different targets.
