A new control design method for hypersonic vehicle with strong static instability and rigid/elastic coupling was proposed. Firstly, the frequency band coupling mechanism of aircraft was analyzed to obtain the main factors affecting the elastic stability of rigid body. Then, the improved double-network control method was proposed. Through reducing the coupling of frequency band and relaxing the requirement of static stability characteristics of aircraft, the controller with good robustness and rapidity could be designed to meet the requirements of rigid body and elastic performance. Finally, compared the results of the proposed scheme with the results of robust control scheme, the superiority of the proposed design method was verified.
