Abstract

In view of the fact that unreasonable design of shoulder-launched weapons' display and control device will increase operator static muscle fatigue, the ergonomics theory is used to propose the optimal design of the device, and an application program of "man-machine dimension design proposal of shoulder-launched weapon" is developed on VB software platform. Input the operator's shoulder, elbow, wrist, and head joint angle values obtained by the Jack software into the VB application, and the human body size database is invoked to get the recommended value of the device. The optimization design example of a shoulder-launched weapon shows that the proposed method is fast and easy to operate, and can improve operator comfort.
