Research on the Influence of Liners Materials on theFormation of Three – layer Tandem EFP

In order to study the effect of material of liners on the three-layer tandem EFP uses the LS-DYNA finite element software to simulate the process of forming three-layer tandem EFP. Carbon steel, copper, aluminum and hafnium were selected to study the effect of materials of liners on the formation of three-layer tandem EFP. The research results show that when three layers of liners use the same material, the three-layer tandem EFP formed by the carbon steel of liners has a better molding effect with the highest speed; when the three-layer liners uses different material, The total speed and total kinetic energy of the three-layer tandem EFP cannot be increased, Compared with the same material as the three-layer liners, The total speed is reduced by 3.0% -4.9%, and the total kinetic energy is reduced by 1.7% -2.3%.
