Analysis of GPS Blanket Jamming Effects Based on Receiver Communication and Ranging Performance

For more accurate implementation of the performance evaluation and function verification of navigation interference, this essay used three important indicators of equivalent carrier-to-noise ratio, bit error rate and pseudo-code error to measure the interference to satellite navigation communication and ranging performance. and the above indicators were simulated and compared and verified under different interference scenarios. The results show that with the increase of jamming-to-noise ratio or under the same jamming-to-noise ratio as the interference bandwidth decreases, the communication and ranging performance will deteriorate. That is, the interference effect is positively correlated with the interference power and negatively correlated with the interference bandwidth. The simulation results preliminarily verify the rationality of the assessment indicators.
