Numerical Analysis and Experimental Verification for Locking Force of Rocket Artillery

Abstract

The locking force of rocket artillery is an important parameter which prevents the rocker from falling off and influences the rocket launching. In view of the current research on the characteristics of the locking force less, it is necessary to study the locking mechanism. Based on the theoretical mechanics, the calculation formula of the locking force and the equilibrium equation of the critical position are deduced, and the locking force variation curve of the differential angle of locking body and friction coefficient is solved, which is verified using software emulation and experimental measurement. Through theoretical calculations, simulation and experimental to verify each other, the design method of the locking mechanism is given, which can provide reference for the design of the lock mechanism.
