A Method for Calculating and Locating the Size of Multi-element Infrared Detection of Terminal Sensitive Bombs

Abstract

A size calculation and positioning method suitable for multi-element infrared detection is proposed to address the problem of low recognition and hit probability when only one scanning signal is used for infrared detection of terminal sensitive ammunition. The core of this method is to obtain the response pulse width and timing of the multi-channel waveform signals collected by the multi-element linear array infrared detector, and combine height information to solve the size of the hot zone. Real-time positioning is achieved by identifying the position of the target based on the response elements and temporal relationships of different signal paths. The size calculation and positioning experiments are conducted on the target, and the results show that the proposed method can obtain the target size and determine the center position of the target using multivariate detection, verifying the effectiveness of the proposed method.
