Calculation and Analysis of Shaped Jet Penetrating Steel Target

Abstract

In this paper, in order to research the shaped process of jet penetrating steel target, the ATOS-M model was used to calculate the penetration process of shaped jet into target and cavern profile formed by shaped jet, and the corresponding curves were given; Computer simulation technology was used to simulate the process of a shaped charge penetrating armor steel, and a penetration process curve was drawn based on the simulation results: The armor steel penetrated by the shaped charge used in simulation was cut. The cavern profile formed by shaped jet was drawn based on the hole cross-section. The results show that the calculation results of ATOS-M model agree with the results of the simulation and experiment well.
