Application of Orthogonal Slits Scanning Technology on the Waveform Analysis of Off-axis Initiation

For study on detonation wave characteristics of charge under off-axis multi-spot initiation, the orthogonal slits scanning technology was used to observe propagation process of detonation wave on the surface of charge. Multiple scanning traces were recorded for both orthogonal directions. The propagation speed and direction of detonation wave in the intersection points of the slits was obtained by analyzing the traces, and evolution program diagram of waveform in aimed direction was drawn. The obtained results indicate that the orthogonal slits scanning technology can record the information of detonation wave process under off-axis multi-spots initiation more thoroughly. Furthermore, the technology can provide adequate evidence for analyzing the propagation characteristics and waveform evolution of detonation wave.
