Abstract

In order to improve the overload capacity of anti-tank missiles, jet vane thrust vector control was studied. By theoretical analysis and mathematic simulation, the effect of jet vane on the characteristics of the missile body was analyzed. It can be proved that jet vane could effectively improve the control capability and rapidity of the missile body, but it also causes a large angle of attack. Meanwhile, the thrust loss and principle design of rudder mixing should be considered. The conclusion could provide basis for design of the aerodynamic / jet vane complex control system.
