Edge Extraction of Solid Motor's 3D Data Field Based on Gravitation Model

To concentrate on solving the problem that 2D edge operator can't extract axial edge of solid motor' CT image, 3D edge extraction based on gravitation model was put forward. Firstly isotropic data field was constructed from CT image series using linear interpolation; secondly, 3D force data field was got by convolution of isotropic field and finally gravitation model edge operator. 3D edges were extracted by different thresholds. It comes to the conclusion by comparison of different edges, and that 3D edge of solid motor can be extracted accurately when the best threshold interval is 2.5% -3.5% of maximum force.
