The Numerical Simulation of Damage Characteristics of Missile Target under Blast Load

Abstract

In order to get damage characteristics of missile's structure under blast load, the commercial FEM program was used to simulate the deformation process of missile target. The missile target was simplified as a strucutre composed of case, frame and internal counterweight. The damage characteristics of missile's case, frame and internal counterweight were got, providing reference for the design of warhead design and target vulnerability assessment.
